{Ella Claire}: Ella's Birthday Party Invitations

We are having a birthday party for Ella next weekend with family and friends and?I designed and?put together these little invitations.

We are having a little garden party at the home of some very dear friends who are like my second family. They have the most beautiful home and garden, and even as a little girl I dreamt of having a home as beautiful, warm, and inviting. The part in the pictures that is covered says, "in the Williams' lovely garden" and the address.

For the invitations, I used the vintage hydrangea image from the Graphics Fairy blog {here}.?I actually printed?the invitation directly?onto some fabric I had in my stash and adhered it to cardstock. It ended up having a really great linen-y feel. If anyone is interested in a tutorial, let me know and I will put one together.

I also put a picture of my sweetie pie, Ella, in there with the card, and tied them together with vintage seam binding that I stole from my mom.

I wanted to thank everyone for the outpouring of support for my projects and blog. I have been so overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone's thoughtfulness and kindness!

I also wanted to let everyone know that I will be posting the tutorial for the Autumn "Pumpkins, Apples, Hayrides" sign {here}?on Monday! It will include a tutorial with my own little?unique painting technique to get that look of layers and layers of old paint.
