Golf destinations are plentiful winter is here and who is also a ...

Florida has long been a refuge from the winter months and with good reason, the sun, beaches, palm trees, and oh yes ? even golf. It seems that you can not go more than a few miles without a golf course in Florida. The trick is to find quality golf at affordable prices. The PGA Village Port St. Lucie offers both.

In the immediate vicinity of the I-95 is the PGA Village, a collection of impressive golf courses, practice facilities, the Museum PGAand restaurants. Once you go to the zone that does not literally, until the holiday is over.

The rooms are abundant rent by private home, villa or apartment, hotel bookings and parts and time. Depending on where you live, you can receive green fee discounts of up to 25% discount. This was the case during my last stay at the Sheraton PGA.

Be warned, though, if you stay at the Sheraton PGA ensure that your machine as the lanai (I do notis claustrophobic really quickly). Apart from that, the stay was pleasant, it is a nice size pool, BB-Q and all areas in which there is no lounge or restaurant service on the grounds there is the Taverna Sam Sneed block at the Hilton Garden Inn.

The atmosphere is warm and elegant, the food was reasonably priced and very good in both variety and quality. There is a huge amount of memorabilia show Mr. Sneed has grossed around the restaurant, including its 82 gold medalspresented to him on each of his PGA Tour victories. There is much to see these medallions in one place and discover the places and dates of the tournaments. If you golf, history or just love really hits home size success.

Now for the very special on the PGA Village in Port ST. Lucie, GOLF. There are three courses, the Ryder and Wanamaker (both models Tom Fazio) and Pete Dye designed course Dye. All the work ofa clubhouse and a common practice. Unique, but each student has his own practice green from the tee, first set up properly will give you the feeling of the green on the course you will have to play.

Each course has its own feeling, nothing is repetitive from course to course was different than the meticulous course from tee to green. Depending on who you talk to, there are different opinions about which is more difficult and more fun to play. A constantdiet of all three will improve your game, as all three present a complete test of golf. I would recommend, however, you do not start off the first day on the Dye course; as this is the more visually challenging of the three.

The seasons determine the green fees and the fees were scheduled to go up a few days after my departure, which was Oct. 3rd. It is best to call ahead and find out the green fees for the time you are planning your golf vacation, that being said, I paid $ 83.00 for three rounds of golf. The price was great and, as I said I was the discount of 25% compared to the PGA Sheraton is very generous.

I hope to exceed your expectations of your golf destinations.
